Might help someone. Tried setting up macchina on my OSX. Took me a while. So wrote a simple step by step instructions
If anyone wants to setup savvycan on mac, do take a look.
This can also be extended to windows, you might have to figure out the locations where the libraries that come along with Macchina and user-defined libraries are stored.
Hi, great tutorial it helped me out to set the M2 up. But I do not get vehicle CAN data.
I have the M2, installed the M2RET as per tutorial and replaced the libraries. In the SavvyCAN tool I get the device connected. But it does not show any CAN data coming. I checked on a Mercedes GLE 2017 model and on a Mitsubishi Fuso Light Duty Truck.
I am using Mac OSX and I tried it on the Windows tablet PC. For both systems I can establish the connection with the M2 but no CAN data coming into the SavvyCAN tool.
What can be the issue? Can somebody help me out please.
