I am trying to sniff the GMLAN on a 2012 Chevy Volt. The problem I have is that only three message id’s show up on the SWCAN and they are 11 bit id’s. If I rewire the SWCAN into one of the CAN channels then I can see the 11 & 29 bit id’s.
How do I get the 29 bit identifiers to show up on SWCAN with Savvy Can?

Sounds like you found a firmware bug. SavvyCAN itself ought to accept extended frames. It must be that the firmware isn’t passing through extended frames for some reason. I’d had to suspect I messed up the filters somehow. I’ll take a look at it.
