I’m not able to test because I don’t have an M2 yet. For me this option of slow init it’s important. If you read the datasheet of TJA1021 you will see the following statement: “It is primarily intended for in-vehicle sub-networks using baud rates from 1 kBd up to 20 kBd and is LIN 2.1/SAE J2602 compliant” So no way for 5baud. Even more, this chip has a “feature” called “TXD dominant time-out function” witch reset the LIN/K line if TX line is pulled low for more than 55ms. For 5 baud init you need to switch TX line high/low for 200ms per bit.
