Has this ever happened to anyone?
Yesterday I plugged my M2 (which was plugged into laptop, but not running) into my vehicle OBD port, and the check engine light came on, and a “Service Traction Control” message came up in the DIC.
When I was finished, I unplugged the M2, and removed my key. When I started up the engine the light and message were gone, thankfully.
It probably is due to nothing communicating with it and no program actively running. My HP Tuner module does the same when I leave it plugged in on my 2012 CTS.
Nah.
M2RET was installed. I’ve done it many times before.
I’ve seen it happen on newer Fords. Can’t remember what I was doing that was causing it though.
